Tommo Turns Up The Heat At Sunny Spalding!!
Stories and detail from the heart of the UK autograss paddock.

Spalding ran their pre-nationals event on Sunday 26th July in hot and sunny conditions.
Sadly not the biggest turnout the pits with 66 entries and the pits was filled with mostly home racers with a smattering of welcome visitors resulting in a steady day.
It was an emotional start however as cars took part in a lap of respect for the memory of Gary Usher SP63 who had recently passed away.
The dry spell meant dusty conditions but the team did their best to control the dust which whilst it made photography tricky it was never completely out of hand for the racers.
Stuart Thompson S130Y raised temperatures further when a flash fire erupted on his newly bought Class 6. Fortunately it was extinguished quickly.
Other highlights included Phil SP85 and Jacob Clark SP3 winning Class 1 and Junior Saloons respectively. Ryan Sayer SP61 is enjoying his return to the sport and he dominated Stock Hatch whilst Scott Ayres CA217 scored a clear F600 win.
